Tirana.

Bulgarians in Albania don’t know the people here who define themselves as Macedonians. They are quite a few and they don’t bother us. We don’t have and we don’t want to have anything to do with them, the Chairman of the Albanian Cultural Educating Association “Prosperity”, Hadji Pirusi, told Focus News Agency. “They have their own economic interests. The Macedonian state helps those people. Skopje needs them. They give them passports, money, they help them in education and there is an initiative to open Macedonian schools in the area of Golo Bardo”, Pirusi said.According to him, the roots of the grafted “Macedonianism” are mainly in the insufficient interest and care of the Bulgarian state in Bulgarians in Albania.
